i'm not sure Seth is around any longer. Its been almost 2 years since he posted anything. Sadly, I think Opera has lost another fine person.
What do you think of the 3D effects on my blogs?

Be kinder than necessary,
for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Live simply,
Love generously,
Care deeply,
Speak kindly.......
Leave the rest to whoever you call God
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

I wonder if there's a way to preserve some of these early blogs, on a read only basis, you know.

So many of those I/we knew have gone over to that dark side
In the eight years since I wrote my first journal (that's what Opera blogs were called them back then) many friends and familiar faces have gone.
We are all older, time is relentless, and things and events change and influence what happens... I guess it can be called "evolution", if you will, but unlike the 'selfish gene' that is intent on one course, we consciously decide what we will do, unless an unforseen circumstance impacts on us and changes what we intended.
I am glad you, Kim, and you, H82typ, still maintain your blogs. Your individual presence adds to a good feeling, a reassurance, that things have not been totally changed in the familiar surroundings and contacts of friends I have known for a long time here, in OC
I am thankful for this.

@ Kim, and Carol: A lot of times, I can't see or hear, or both, your content. It's not y'alls' fault, just the limitations of my wallet and my device.
What scares me the most about Opera mucking about with their code is that every time they change things something gets messed up, or disappears. We had one case,(onebluebox), where her photo albums went missing, she tried for over a month working with Opera to get them back.
She was in a fatal car wreck, there was some kind of upgrade and all her images are gone. Forever.

I know I don't blog that much here in OC, but that is, as Dennis stated, they have made so many changes that it is hard to make a post that will stay once I publish it.
Jim, radostsguy, can't even get his site to load in Opera anymore. The changes they have made to the coding, has made it impossible for quite a few web sites not able to load in their browser.
As for the loss of items here in OC, I would be royally pizzed if that happened to me. I have too many photos here that I don't have copies of anywhere else, including on my computer.
I am very glad that I still have some people here that are actually still willing to read what I post when I do post it.
Also, there will be a new post up in the next couple of days. I am back to DJ'n again, and will post my times and days, and the link also.
Take care all.

You should back up all your photos!

I try to write an interesting and simple blog and I am sorry if anything I write seems to make it not easy for you to reply to. I am an uncomplicated man and I don't want anyone to feel that what I write about is hard to comment to... I am just being myself when I write my poetry, stories and other things. Apologies for unkowingly making it hard for you to comment on my posts.
Thanks.

Hi Kim, I read what you posted about depression and the overprescribing or mal-prescribing of drugs and the associated risks and consequences. It was a tour-de-force in writing. I could not add anything meaningful to what you posted because I have not personally had any experience of the things that happened to you ... but I would like to assure you that you gave out very meaningful and valuable and valid information in all that you described. I suspect that similiar things are happening in my own country where doctors have prescribed chemical treatment almost as a knee jerk reaction (I know of at least one case where that has happened and from what I heard there are probably other cases that are known to circles of people in the same situation).
Thanks, Kim
