Luffy confirms it when Garp takes off his canine mask. According to Luffy, Garp looked exactly the same as he always was... Its kinda weird, when you think about it. Garp was the Marine Vice Admiral that cornered (omfg, corner THE pirate king?) and turned Gol D. Roger in, the person who Luffy admires the most...

There's a rumor that Dragon may be Luffy's father... no serious confirmations yet...

And Luffy never acknowledges Gol D. Roger as a relative, but just as a heroic idol. Aokiji was referring to Garp when he was talking about Luffy's grandfather... but which leads one to wonder, cuz Aokiji said something about fighting his grandpa.

But Marine to Marine? They are supposed to be on the same side... right?

Can it be (just asking) that Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp both are Luffu's Grandfathers (his mom and his father side)? Or is this just stupid?
