‧中文意思：感到訝異

英文是個有趣的語言。

當你發Wow的時候，看看鏡子中的你，你的嘴巴會先嘟在一塊兒，然後迅速張開，而後恢復到嘟著嘴巴的姿勢。你臉的下半部彷彿做了全面性的張合運動，從原本的不可置信，到啞口無言，最後把嘴巴歸於平靜，整個過程，就像你對事情的反應一樣。

當你發出Fxck的時候，仔細看看自己，你會發現你的上齒咬著下唇，一副恨的牙癢癢的樣子，聲音由聲帶快速吐出，短又急促，最後挾帶著微弱的氣音（k），來鬆懈你心中忿恨不平的感受。

除了發音可以很清楚知道那個字的意思之外，英文也善用臉部器官來表示你想要表達的意思。look down on，眼睛往下看著某人，你不就在輕視他嗎？face the truth，臉面對著真相，不就是要你面對事實的真相嗎？raise one’s eyebrows，把眉毛揚起來，就是感到訝異的意思了。族繁不及備載。

下次唸英文或聽英文的時候，不彷多觀察自己或別人發音的時候臉部的表情，或者由談論到的臉部器官來聯想該詞彙的意思，可能會是很有趣的過程呢！

‧中文意思：（餐廳裡）負責收餐盤的人

「到了xxx站囉！」公車司機這樣一說，把公車停了下來，讓某些乘客下了車，也讓某些乘客上車。到了下一站，司機又會接起某接乘客，也讓某些乘客下車，如此反反覆覆。

如果在餐廳裡，有人繞阿繞的，繞到你的桌位來，把你桌上的餐盤收走，然後，旋即
走向下個桌位，把另一桌客人的餐盤也收走，如此反反覆覆，我們就稱他為busboy，專門負責收拾客人桌上餐盤的服務員。

bus除了當作公車解釋之外，也可當成動詞用，有著原意「搭公車」的涵義，也有著「收拾餐盤」的意思在。


‧FUN單字例句 ：

We have to bus the table ourselves at Starbucks .
在星巴克我們得自己收拾桌子。

Animation VS Cartoon

动画，卡通，美术片，漫画...
这些都是动漫相关的单词
那么之间有什么关系呢？

英文中有两个单词
一个是Animation,
其所表示的是指影视版本的动漫 [link]
所谓的卡通片（据我了解，卡通和卡通片是不同的概念，卡通片专指影视版本的；卡通则指漫画版本＋动画版本）

Animation is the optical illusion of motion created by the consecutive display of images of static elements. In film and video production, this refers to techniques by which each frame of a film or movie is produced individually. These frames may be generated by computers, or by photographing a drawn or painted image, or by repeatedly making small changes to a model unit (see claymation and stop motion), and then photographing the result with a special animation camera. When the frames are strung together and the resulting film is viewed, there is an illusion of continuous movement due to the phenomenon known as persistence of vision. Generating such a film tends to be very labour intensive and tedious, though the development of computer animation has greatly sped up the process.

In its original historical meaning, a cartoon (from the Italian cartone, meaning "big paper") is a full-size drawing made on paper as a study for a further artwork, such as a painting or tapestry. Cartoons were typically used in the production of frescoes, to accurately link the component parts of the composition when painted onto plaster over a series of days. Such cartoons often have pinpricks where the outline of the design has been picked out in the plaster. Cartoons by painters such as Raphael and Leonardo da Vinci are highly prized in their own right. A world-renowned collection of Peter Paul Rubens cartoons for huge tapestries is displayed in the collection of the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida.


不过不少传统漫画作者不承认日式漫画
认为那些是小人书，连环画而已
个人觉得，不同的时代赋予一些词一些新的定义
日式漫画也是漫画的一种
而传统的漫画作家所指的具有讽刺意味的漫画作品，英文中也有一个单词Caricature更加贴切一些

1. 到「 http://digital.hollmen.dk/download/aubrk101.zip 」下載AutoUnbreak回來並解壓縮。再來複製要接回原句的英文片段，執行AutoUnbreak後按下〔1.Paste〕把英文片段貼進去。

2. 接著按下〔2.UnBreak〕，它就會快速地把英文原句接好還原。最後按下〔3.Copy results〕，就能直接複製接好的句子，方便你轉貼到其他文件上。
