my darling
Before, when I had met with difficulties, I felt I couldn’t overcome, even, I thought my life still didn’t make sense. By chance, I met him, and my life was changing little by little for his help. He is a normal man with ordinary job but with me, he is a special man in my heart.
He is tall and rather fat. He has a round face, thick eyebrows, a pair of almond brown black eyes, and a pair of lovely lips. Each time he smiles that’s a seductive smile. I like seeing his smile, that’s funny. His hair is black and silky. He usually wears casual clothes and it is a habit which is similar with me. He has a rather fair complexion so he is easy to choice clothes.
The unusual man has more age than me one of age. But he looks older than he really is because he always wants to be a mature man in his family. He hasn’t to be a talent but he works assiduously and he always loves his work. His friends and colleagues love and esteem him because when they need his help, he will do anything possibly to help them. Even when they get a good chance or a good new…they also share with him. But he does not much care for his intimates, because he spends a lot of time for his work and friends. I like his friends little; they often invite him to their party. So sometime, I feel sad and alone. I know he always try to work to have a good future and to bring me a comfortable life, but he doesn’t much pay attention to my think, he doesn’t know what I really want and I need at him.
Perhaps, the men never minds little things. Maybe it’s one of his characters.
He lives simply and thinks simply. He isn’t conservative, he always listens what people talk with/ about him, and he always promises me to changing his defects. But it’s rare that he realized it because he can’t remember what he says, he usually forget what he has to do although I always remind him when he mistook. Gradually, I also am used to those characters, moreover, nobody is perfect, and so I think it is funny lovely characters.
I know he love me the most, and he is my kindest man.

Our life changes day by day. It’s the true that you were a child, you are growing up now, and then you will be older.
What about your hometown?
Have you ever think how your hometown will be in 10 years later?
I think Dong Anh,my hometown will have many changes in 10 years later. The area for farming will be gradually narrow in order to make room for factories. There are more and more factories,so unemployment will be solved better. We know human can die but the nature is forever. The Red river is still calm and gracefull.it supplys water for developing agriculture.Besides,Thang Long bridge is the main bridge connecting Dong Anh to Hanoi centre. The development of economy will advanced the quality of the life.Every household has fridge, washing machine, vacuum cleaner…ect. And of course, the cost of living will be very high.On the other hand, the fresh air is possible to be poluted seriously by waste of industry. Therefore, many diseases will threat the health of people.Morever, the calm there will be destroyed by night clubs.
I don’t know my forecast be right or not,but I hope that the life is always beautiful in my hometown!

November 4th - world-famous kungfu actor cum singer Jacky Chan came to Vietnam as the ambassador of Operation Smile NGO. 12 a.m he visited patients in Viet Duc hospital and took a few quick photos with the doctors here. In the afternoon, together with Ly Nha Ky (the walking flower vase) he joined a press conference at Intercontinental Hotel - West Lake.
Weaponed not by press card nor relations, I confidently ploughed a lonely furrow through the Intercon's lobby straight into the Conference room without any suspicions. The room was tightly packed with people who would not hesitate to do anything just to get a glimpse of Jacky. The conference finished with Jacky escorted by six men in black into the back room.
Then came refreshment - time for Ly Nha Ky to show the world how tiny her brain was. Nearly two hours had passed when everyone left the hotel, leaving the lobby a lonely deserted place but for the six bodyguards prowling around in front of the VIP room.
I was the only one left, knowing that the room was not large enough for the Chinese star to hang around any longer. As a matter of fact, Jacky walked out - this time alone, no press, no paparazzi, no fans. I walked up to him and asked for an autograph on the back of my...photo (since I had not had time to print out his). Jacky looked at my photo, saying "You're beautiful". I politely thanked him with a smile and perhaps a shade of rose on my cheeks. Jacky then asked for my name. I thought it would take time to spell it in Vietnamese so I told him my Chinese name. He asked for its meaning (because many Chinese words share the same pronunciation but have different characters and meanings). I said my middle name was in the phrase "Fragrant grass" and while pending on to which phrase my first name should belong, Jacky already wrote down my first name as in "China". I laughed telling him my parents were thinking about flowers instead of China when naming me, which resulted in his adding the floral strokes above my first name. So eventually I had a special name that does not even exist in the dictionary! Thanks to Jacky.
I kindly asked him for a photo and he agreed happily. However, his bodyguards did not think the same. They said no time for photo and I was almost brushed aside by one of them. To my surprise, instead of walking off Jacky told them a photo would be fine and in a jiffy I was posing next to him for the photo that costs...forever. His own professional photographer helped me take the shot and here it is.
If there is anything you should bear in mind, it would be: Think different.

‘‘How will my hometown be changed in 10 years later?’’ – It is the question that I always wonder, and the question brings me a lot of rich imagination.
In my opinion, the thing which exchanges most in my hometown in 10 years is urbanization and industrialization. More high buildings, more big shops and more industrial centers will rise here. But industrialization means that the lands of crop will be narrowed and the air can be polluted. I don’t like that, because the thing I like most about my hometown is the yellow rice fields and I think it’s the private beauty of my hometown. When the industry develops, many factories will be opened and many people will come here to invest capital in business or construction projects. This leads to cultural integration. Although people will have the open lifestyle with cultural exchange, we will always keep the good tradition as the traditional festival, the traditional food will be still organized every year. Besides, there will be more entertainment places such as parks, cinemas, swimming pools…Everybody can relax better after a hard working day. Especially, in 10 years there will be a big English center which I own here, because my dream is to build an English center for all ages. Nowadays English is an indispensable means of communication. I hope all people in my hometown will be more confident with their English knowledge.
Life and people always change, but I’m sure that everybody in my hometown will be friendly and love each other. My family will live happily here forever.

My hometown is now very beautiful and quiet. There are fields, houses, a bridge, a river Which I like very much.If in 10 years later, are there changes?I don’t know exactly but I guess there are many new things. The bridge, the river are still there. And maybe the bridge is older. The houses will be higher. And there are less fields than now, because many factories are being built on the fields.Maybe there are a new bridge, many schools, hospitals,…I can see advantages and disadvantages in the future. The opportunities for education will be better than now. That’s an advantage! Besides, The standard of life will be higher and condition of life will be better.Traffic is convinienter than now. However, there are many disadvantages. The air will be polluted because of smoke of factories. Perhaps,Tradition of culture will lose…I hope that everyone will have a good living without disadvantages.

I come from Hatay, a small province in the west of Hanoi, Now Hatay is a province of Hanoi and maybe in the future my hometown have many changes. Now my hometown isn’t big but very peaceful. I hope in the future, my hometown is more beautiful. The road will be bigger and the people in my hometown can contact with many new entertainment and media. I think my hometown in 10 years later will have many big building , many company and of couse the life of the people is more comfortable.
I hope in 10 years later there are many hospital and school with modern equipment , that will be built in my hometown. My hometown is richer and denser. I can’t imagine one day I will live in a place with many high building and modern environment like Hanoi now, but the air isn’t polluted. The young people in my hometown are more interligent and can build the hometown richer and more beautiful than now.

The change could take place in every time and every where. Maybe sometimes it was based on a short idea, but sometimes it was prepared in many years.
10 years is not a short time but not a so long time to do something. I was born and grow up in a small village. In the past most of my villagers are farmers, but since a industrial zone was built near my village, everythings changs daily.
In my village many house, the house with two or three floors, are built more with every passing day. They become much richer with the money from the industrial zone. And the masses' living standard becomes higher with every passing day. I really don’t like this change. My village is is not still a traditional village as it still. In 10 years later there are maybe no traditional house.
Moreover the style of living of a part of young people has changed. They are moderner and activer. Sometimes it is good, but sometimes not.
Especialy the sight is the thing, what is the most fast changes. There could be no fields more, no fresh river…, but building, industrial zone, unfresh river…in 10 yaers later. The road could be definitely wide open, no trees more. There could be more people than today. All of them has brought about polluted environment.
I hope that all things i had written will not come true. In 10 years later my village will become a industrial village with traditional culture, healthy style of living and no environment.

When I feel sad,I always stay in the dark and think about everything. And the thing that I think much, this is my future and the city where I will work in the fulture:my hometown. So how will its image be in 10 years?
I was born and grew up in Hai Phong city, one of the biggest centre commercial in the North. As you know,Hai Phong have a position strategic for the Viet Nam’economics.Transporting goods,to transact with foreign client…
I think that in 10 years time, my hometown will have many high buildings, hotels, cinemas, parks, zoos which respond requirement distraction of inhabitants. Now,my hometown are possessing a lot of famous place like Do Son beach,Cat Ba island… that attract attention of many touristes, and a lot of place that attend to shopping like Parkson Plaza,BigC supermaket,Metro supermaket…. Surely,in 10 years, the investors will allow to build many towers, many restaurants, many industrial zone… for developing Hai Phong’economics. And finally,I hope that in next 10 years, I will contribute to the development of Hai Phong, the love in my heart.
