family, loving family

the show today is one of rememberance and a reminder of what holds some of use so dear.
our family, our loving and our love for, our families.
i would prefer to take this show into a discussion rather than a creative writing piece on my part. bare with me please and join in.
a tribute to our families and our love for those we know as family.
i'm not talking about my friends, although they are great people too. i'm talking about my family members by blood and by soul. they, are part of me, as i am part of them. i am blessed to be a member of, and i know who i am in a large part because of, my family.
for those of you who've been on the journey with me and the deborah show, you know how much i respect my dogs and animal companions. you also probably understand the devotion and inspiration i gain for happiness in life each day from these creatures of my immediate family.
what you might not know about the deborah show is how much influence my family gave to me when i began to realize the "i" in me. i feel that the journey from my first breath began to unfold with the love my family felt for me. bringing me to this day that i breath and write this fold. a tale of how the love given me has brought me to give love to thee. (sorry, i can't help but rhyme there.)
this might be too long for some to read, but it is rather short indeed. i post this today for all to see, if you're reading i think you'll feel what i mean.
thanks to nelu for the inspiration. thanks pat for the insight. thanks mariana for the reminders and memories. thanks andy, your talents are great. thanks bruce for the insight. thanks jan for the encouragement. thanks mom for all your love and kindness. thanks for letting me, be me. deborah.

i dread the day when my close loved ones pass away, but life is what happens and it will come true for me one day.
one day i'll have to remember mother's touch, her smile, and her voice and laughter. but not anytime soon, she's got more fight in her than i'll ever have. mom had me when she was almost sixteen, so we're not too far apart in age.
my grandparents have all passed as well as a few aunts and uncles that i dearly love. i never had children, so i enjoy everyone else's and of course i've always got my dogs and birds.
there is a special place just like mariana posted about on her blog -- the rainbow bridge. i'll try and remember that dear friend.
