Thanks! I enjoy creating these. Very hit and miss, but great when it works.

studio41 Wednesday, January 23, 2008 5:15:20 AM

how did you do it?

Words Wednesday, January 23, 2008 7:31:22 AM

I just let the kitchen tap drip slightly. Line up with a macro lens and flash. Take about 30 shots. One or two capture the drip falling. The difficulty is getting the focus right (and catching the drip!), but if you take lots of shots, usually one or two will work ok. It's as much persistence as anything else!

José Torreszetorres Wednesday, January 23, 2008 11:51:01 AM

Yes I realy understand you words:up:

studio41 Thursday, January 24, 2008 12:05:43 AM

great to know, my whole fam enjoyed seeing it... we'll have to try sometime when I get that lens.

Elvis Kõlleemeez Thursday, January 24, 2008 9:15:53 AM

What Macro Lens did you use ?

Words Thursday, January 24, 2008 6:16:21 PM

For that one I used the Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG macro lens plus the Sigma EM-140 DG ring flash unit. But I've taken similar shots successfully with my previous camera (Canon Powershot S2 IS).
