Nominations May 2009

1. Nominate pictures that were taken AND posted in 365 Photos in May 2009
2. Please Do NOT nominate your own pictures. There are a lot of nice photos around!
3. You may Nominate four (4) different pictures (4 only please)
4. Try not to select photos that were already nominated.

An easier way to post your photos:

1- go to the photo you are nominating
2- right click on the photo, click properties
3- right click and click on save the image location *** SEE TIME SAVER BELOW
4- click in the comment box where it will be posted on the blog page
5- enter the html code
6- right click and paste the link after the equal sign - Leave no spaces
7- after the link add ] - Leave no spaces

Please add the name of the photo and the name of the photographer above the photo
Ex: "Osprey, by Lois"

*** A time saver: Open Notepad (click start-all programs-accessories-notepad
Copy and paste each of the 4 links into Notepad
.......In Notepad:
Enter the html codes to the beginning and end of the links
Go back to the comment field, left click, right click and paste each image link.
Then go into "edit" in the comment field and add the photographer's name and photo name

right click & paste link ]

@ Zé - You could also say there's a fast way to find May's photos by using the tag. I don't think all 365 members who watnt to vote know about that! bigsmile

Message for all members posting photos here:

Why for long months we had that kind of nominations? With the properties photo code.

Well to make easy the new voting post!

why?

At the 15th each month we "I", usually just need edit each comment in that post made by each member nominations copy the link, author and photo tittle and past in the new voting post.

Why?

With thumbnails style this will not help us "me" because I will have to find each code of each photo to post in the voting post! And that will take very long time...awww:

So In the future let it be as it was in the past! Because it works well and easy! wink

But I think you should replace the pictures address in the right way 'cause your photos aren't visible.
Go to the photos you chose then right click on it--> image properties --> copy the address and paste it into the code you can see in the post. smile
