365 IRC channel

Hi all, i'm going to announce you the (re)born of the 365 IRC channel.

I added the "re" because last year Orlando tried to create this channel and for some days used it with Zephirine but then he/they abandoned the project.
Now the channel exist again for all of us and can be active if you all join it when you have free time. I'm in all the time i can. wink

In the 365 IRC channel you can talk about photography, photos, albums, technical photo tools and procedures, ask about problems and give mods your feedback and suggestions to make 365 even better. You can talk about other things if no specific 365 discussions are active.

If possible speak english for general discussion. Other languages are allowed only for people not able with english and only if there is at least another that understand the language (so italian is allowed when i am connected p ).

Join the 365 channel, remember to say "hi" when you enter the channel (so that other people connected can see the chat tab blinking if they are not actively in the channel), enjoy it and have fun.

If you have not yet registered in the Opera IRC network, remember to join using the same nickname you have here in MyOpera so that we can recognize each other and don't forgive to register it in the IRC servers too, so that no other will use your name (to do it follow the IRC registration istructions, how to setup Opera and how to protect your nick).

All moderators are supposed to use moderators forum only for making decisions here at 365.

I thought the tabs should blink on Opera browser when someone post something on chat confused I don't see that on Opera 11.

EDIT: I went to search this on Google and first item on list of results was this post of mine lol Anyway, I'm looking for soltuion on Opera froums and chat. No results/answer yet...

In the tab, depending to the skin you use, have to appear the blue little circle. Naturally only when you are not in the chat tab. wink

OK, so no blinking then. I recall some Opera version did so but maybe I just don't remember right.

What is wrong with irc.opera.com today? I don't get anywhere confused

On 365 irc Wertti mentioned mIRC software. Since notification sucks on Opera browser irc, I do recoomend other irc applications like mIRC or X-Chat.

EDIT: Download page for X-chat and settings for #365 at irc.opera.com unfortuantely in Finnish because I could not find how to switch the language.
