One photo everyday ... 365 days long.

365 pages messed up

Today 365 pages turned into total nightmare. Following problems occured:

1) Some old version of CSS style sheet displayed causing nonfunctional menu.
2) Links and about data took from another My Opera group called 'Opera Mini fans'.
3) Links also messed up on page marginal.

I am a moderator on both these groups but done no moderation at all on either of these groups. Problem is now also reported at My Opera feedback forums, and if no response and solution in few hours, then I will post bug report also via My Opera contact form.

Please be patient and wait more information, which I try to provide as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Problem solved up

I've made a quick comment in the forums: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=826372&t=1291307925&page=1#comment7900222

I can't really say much about this issue now, but we are trying to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Thanks Martin cheers Folks, everything else seem to be back as it used to be but style definitions are missing. Trying to get that restored as soon as possible.

Shall we "kill" the blue header with

#top2{height: 0px;}

or do we wait until the old user.css is restored?

Let's wait till tomorrow.

Problem solved up EDIT: There are still some minor issues but I fix them later on. Lesson learned: make a backup of each CSS! bigsmile

Please share your problems. If there's anything we can do/haven't done yet to fix everything. This was entirely a fault on our end, so you shouldn't have to waste time cleaning up bigsmile

There are only two minor CSS issues not done yet and reporting them would take more time than fixing them bigsmile

However the major bug at My Opera is that every time something like this happens it also mess the sidebar settings. We now have post on mods forum where original settings can be seen but this is one thing that causes some problems. Since it really happens very seldom is actually making it bigger problem because active moderators either does not know what has happened or does not remember what should be done.

EDIT: Oh, and anohter thing that would be nice is to make some system to recover the latest CSS and by latest I mean one that is saved something like 48 hours ago. This case we got back one saved last spring and it caused some confusion first to find out why menu was messed up. This is because the latest change was not done by me and I had to digg through my personla messages to find out who did the chance and what it was.

Now I see the poll and I had a quick look at the privacy settings issue for one of the albums. Anything else? smile

@ Martin - Sorry for not explaining it well enough o I meant there is no link to add/edit/delete polls at http://my.opera.com/365/account/

I just switched the poll off on account page because that poll is over. What we do here is that we just delete old polls to remove them. Then we create new one when needed.
