SumateraQuite a large quake inbetween Jawa and Sumatera at Krakatau in Indonesia. The newspaper report from the Capitol Jakarta shows workers panicking to get out of swaying highrise office buildings - giving more proof that Australian Geoscience are too conservative in their map making of shake zones ( and their recording of magnitude ). Office workers apparently unable to evacuate for falling over...they were lucky to get away without damage. The quake hitting at Sunset just after Moonset when the trench would be pulled open by a few mm from the West. No tsunami. SUMATERA IS ABOUT TO HAVE A LARGE QUAKE in the Western area again.. Eastern Sulawesi is also looking stressed. |
