Writing a CV

How to Write a CV: The following is a list of some suggestions for a better CV. It is in a simple do & do not format. These should help you prepare an outstanding curriculum vitae.
Do
Keep your CV simple and easy to read with well demarcated sections.

Use bullet points. Bulleted points are a great way to save space and add impact. They are effective and easy to read.

Thoroughly check spelling and grammar. Ask friends or colleagues to read through your CV. They can easily spot obvious errors. Spelling or grammatical mistakes suggest poor attention to detail and makes a poor impression.

Balance content versus length. A two page CV is ideal, but do not use ridiculously small text to accommodate two pages, an extra page will do no harm.

Adjust the CV to suit the role. CVs with specific roles in mind are always more successful than general CV‘s.

Sell your skills and all the benefits you have to offer the employer.

Treat your CV as work in progress and give it a polish often.

Do Not
Do not write in shorthand, text talk, ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, poor or broken English.

Do not add your photo to your CV. You will be hired because of your skills not looks.

Do not have an overly elaborate or stylistic CV. Avoid a multitude of colour and a range of fonts. Use time on CV content not CV design.

Do not insert trivial details like what primary school you went to, place of birth or marital status.

Do not include humour.

Do not undersell yourself. If you have something marketable, then indicate it in a clear and concise manner.

NEVER BORROW FROM THE FUTURE !!!!!!

"Never Borrow from the future"This is the most beautiful advice I have ever received in an email ...Please don't close or delete this one before reading! An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain.Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.
'1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and uncluttered your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects overtime; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can preventive enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19. Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to tryand pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus .
'27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33 Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.'If God is for us, who can be against us?'(Romans 8:31)My instructions were to send this to four people that I wanted God to bless and I picked you. I decided to send it to more than four, because I didn't want to limit blessings.SEND IT, FORWARD PLEASE,Not backward!-- This message and any attachment are confidential and may be privileged or otherwise protected from discovery or disclosure. world is the place a lot of problems (a friend's quote)

This world is the place a lot of problems.

Every person has a problem. Problems vary, namely large, medium and small. Sometimes we feel disappointed with the various problems that we face. We should not need to continue to dissolve in disappointment due to various problems. In a situation like this, our thoughts and feelings should be calm and clear. And we believe that every problem, if we seek will surely find a way out. Also we believe each completed one problem, it will come again the next problem. And this situation will continue as long as we still live in this world. But we need not fear and don't cry, because behind it there is happiness. If we can solve every problem well. Everyone knows that in life there is crying, sad, disappointed, angry, happy or unhappy. Of course we want the happily ever after. Realize that to get happiness it must go through the struggle. In the struggle there must be sacrifice. So true happiness awaits you. Don't be sad! Don't cry! cry cry cry

Happy Val's day to all my friends

The light of love is shinning in your eyes –
A smile so warm the snow has no chance –
The attraction so strong that
the great walls of China cannot stand –
The music heard inside your simple sighs
Is cause enough that I should want to dance!

Alive the dream once dormant and so dark
One thought of you to set my hear aflame
The arrow flew and cupid hit the mark
And then he said, I’ve never be the same!

Now who was I to counteract this call?
The God of love decided, it was done –
I must admit that sudden was the fall
Let this be known to each and everyone!

Behold this man so thankful top his Lord,
If trembling, now, upon the least of it
The stars align and all is in accord;
And oh the dream that makes a feast of it!

I make no claim and nowhere do I boast
Except to note I have fallen into line
Some happenings are beyond reason
Like the wonder of your love
Some feelings are only understood
By the heart as pure as yours,
So, to you, this day,
I humbly make this toast,
To think that you would share my valentine

From Loredane Latis

Touch the heavens with your soul today! And yes you may feel touching the.
Open your wings and fly and touch the sky!
