Impressions in red, black, blue and other colours

, ,

The autumn is near - I can see and feel the first evidences. Only a few sunny moments on grey, wet and cold rainy days in this August 2006.
Meanwhile you need a diving suit, if you want go out for a walk. :D

Therefore I will show you, what I have seen, when the days were a bit nicer.

First: my impressions in red and green...
 I have to confess, I never walk without these little bears.
(I know, I'm a bit childish).

Second: my impressions in black, white and blue...
I think, now you can see, why the Blackforest is named Blackforest. :D

Thirdly: the new photos of the flower series...

A week ago it felt like fall here, but it's hot once again. We sometimes get "Indian" summers here, which means September is often hot and sunny. Do you get that in Germany?

ALLY G. 22. August 2006, 16:57

Hi John,
oh yes, jingle bells, jingle bells...
You are right, I din't see that before.

Hi Sarah,
yumyum... I love it. Do you know, the bears are good for the digestion?
No, ot's no fun, it is serious.

Hi Sandy,
oh, my hubby told me about Indian summer. It must be wonderful. I hope to see it in the future. Here in the Blackforest we have that a little bit too, if the weather and the temperatures are opportune. I will take photos in september, then you can see.

Hi Elke,
I saw some early signs of the Autumn season here too.

@San I thought Indian summer was only on the north-east part of our continent, I’m surprised to hear about it from a west coast girl. Although in Quebec it's more in late October.

Elke, if you have something similar, we could all post our Indian summer pictures this fall :D

ALLY G. 23. August 2006, 02:33

That is a great idea, Louis! :D

I'm sure, we all will be very creative.

San 23. August 2006, 02:51

But the autumn in Quebec is the best in Canada. The colours are spectacular!

ALLY G. 23. August 2006, 03:01

Hey Sandy, you don't sleep? Good Morning!

I have my first cup of :coffee: now.

Kay Four 23. August 2006, 14:28

Autumn already? Here in Florida, we don't get evidence of Autumn until late October or November...

But, here in the tropics, it has been HOT and steamy. I would welcome a bit of autumn.

Great blog! Great Pictures!

Love,
K4

ALLY G. 23. August 2006, 15:09

Dear Karen,
let's change our places...
you will be happy to breath the fresh air here and I would be happy for the tropics. :D

Thanks for your compliment

Do you think gummie bears taste the same all over the world? In my experience, no.

I once had Swedish ones and they were superb!

The ones I get in Illinois or Indiana don't compare.

Wish I could find the Swedish ones again. I got them when they didn't make gummies here; maybe that is why I can't find them.

Alas.

Beautiful pics!!

When autumn comes here, I will try to show a bit of my world to you, if you want me to....

ALLY G. 24. August 2006, 15:47

Hello Eliane,
I don't know the swedish gummy bears, I love the originals from Haribo, but only the little ones - yum yum. :D

That is a good idea, when you will show us your photos. In this case we can make a virtual travel to your places.
