I just though Id add this to get some views on Cosplayers and why they do it

Ok Cosplay is the shortend term for Costume play.
To put it quite simply it was made popular in the early 90s when japanesse teenagers and those in there mid to late twenties started dressing up as characters out of anime, manga, video games and even off TV. Since then it has spread around the world.

You would notice them if you have ever gone to a convention of anykind. There the people who go around dress like Siya, hell I've even seen this chick dress as Yoshi and the entire cast of Cowboy Bebop. You can buy just about any costume of any character you can think of. I've own Kisuke Hat, but the whole costume would be a bit to flash.

Really It is just a hobby for some but for others they live there lives like that character. Kinda creeps me out since your next door neighbour could be going around as Goku.

In the end dosn't it make you happy to know that these people are really out there.

I think people cosplay to somehow feel what its like to be their favorite anime charater for a while and to look cool of course!

A valid point.
But would you cosplay?

Yeah i`d possible cosplay as Jiraiya or L

me it would have to be ............. renji from bleach or sesseomarow from inuyasha
that bad ass but cool calm thing it just stikes to me like glue
i dont really like the mean chacter in any anime that much
