I was wondering when posting this if anyone would notice the lyrics and the predominant shots of rivers and river beds. Rivers in the South island are amazing, flowing from the alps and mountains like, Mt Aorangi or in the south its pronounced Mt Aoraki, you may call Mt Cook :irked: if you really have too! These rivers have tributaries running everywhere under ground and above, gouging their way to the sea.

Dave, doing most of the vocals, is a huge fishing fan, as am i, river fishing for trout and salmon. And over these past 10 years especially, due to farms taking water from the rivers there is a lack of water in these rivers, farmers have always done this as long as i can remember, but the numbers of farms in the area has increased to such a degree everyone is trying to appropriate their share of the 'water booty' It's causing a major cafuffle indeed. This song outlines, "whats going to be next to go"...."Don't take my love sunshine and Happiness" in other words "My Freakin' Fishing" ...
The next track i'll post is even better in it's footage and the song is a personal fav' of mine.....:eyes: Don't look now but here comes another post.....

Henry! When I read that, it gave me goosebumps!:eyes: Have been getting a lot of those lately from reading things and viewing photos on Opera blogs.

There must be some meaning to this. Isabel (wickedlizard) had a post about a book she read: Women Who Run with the Wolves. She put up some quotes from the book and one of them said something about 'rivers beneath the rivers'. I got goosebumps when I read that. It is the 'zone' creative people get into when they are creating. I have been there but can't explain it. It's like an out of body experience. :happy:

And thank you for putting me at featured member status...(stands up, curtsies, sits down and :happy: ).

p.s. Now you KNOW I'm going to have to look for a pendant with a fish on it.:D
