I have soughted out my next full year of Maori studies and am most happy to have it finalized. I will be working with two Kaitiaki/ Kaiako = Support person/ Teacher. Sony is from Samoa and Tu is from the Cook Islands, they are both Kaitiaki and kaiako. I feel totally spoilt and in the best of company.
A brother has been hassling me to sought out my slack use of the macron, point taken. Therefore I have a Maori keyboard application ready to go. Following this mihi/sticky post the macron will be in constant use...

My heart is heavy. I miss a friend in the South Island, Te Waipounamu, Otautahi to be exact.

And two other friends in Kaikoura and Springfield...Music and the ability to write is a privilege and a gift, a gift I have opened many times, yet none more important than now.!
Speaking of aural pleasures checkout this outdoor festival..
