well i have given this whole thing a bit of thought.
Picture this. Its nine thirty in the morning and you are riding your bike, the wind blowing through your hair. It's a fine day, clear sky and the sun just about making the day hot but you don't much feel it because of the rush of the wind. You turn onto the national highway and after about 20 min you get off it and take the road that leads to the village. It is a bit narrow but there isn't much traffic anyway. Both sides of the road are covered with farms with standing crop. Another few minutes and you come upon a few structures, all surrounding an open ground. To the right is the structured marked as the local school. A picture of two kids, a boy and a girl, riding on a colorful pencil with the message 'education for everyone' adorn the otherwise plain outer walls. Its a single story building and two windows open towards the ground. you enter the school and notice that the structure is dilapidated and a bit dark. well it is dark because the only source of light is through the windows.

I'm a second year college student, age 21.
The topic is a serious attempt, by myself, to understand, and then implement, ways by which individuals and small organizations can work towards reducing the tech-gap.

I 'm using a smartphone to write this blog. Meaning i have net capabilities active on my mobile.

But then i look around and find that i'm the only one in my department to have internet facilities active on their mobiles.

Most don't have regular access to internet.

Many even dont know how to, say, search something on google.

Some even dont know how to work on a computer.

And then i think about those who live in villages and towns. How can advances in technology be transferred to these people so that it could have a meaningful effect on their lives?

Its a vast topic with no silver bullet.
Share ideas or incidences.

Its a political line but 'we all can make a difference'

i just hope i am able to.
