I would like to introduce you to the new Sans-Serif Complex logo. Work on the album will begin very soon. I already have a potential album cover, posted on flickr. It may be called 'Paint Chips"
Hope everybody is having a good summer. I'm mostly bogged down with work and school these days.

For you music makers out there, here are some free analog drum samples for your software samplers. May it suit you well.
I bought a Casio Mt-68 keyboard several months ago for about USD$15. I mainly bought it for the percussion, but it also creates some nice sounds as well. This is actually a cute little analog keyboard that they made in the early 80s, just before they went digital. It has a surprisingly nice sound, especially when going through the line out, which is how I recorded these.
The sample pack includes one-hit samples of each of the seven percussion sounds. I identify these sounds as: Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Closed Hi-Hat, Open Hi-hat, Clave, Mid Tom, and Low Tom. There are in 24/96 wav format and there are multiple samples of each, so you can round-robin them. They have been carefully EQ'd and trimmed using Synapse-Audio's Orion and Audacity.
This is the first sample pack I've created, and I hope to continue doing more. Eventually, I'll convert the Meropis Lollipop site to host software, samples and other tools for fellow electronic musicians.
