HEY OPERA TECHS - STOP THE INSANITY and FIX YOUR DAMN SERVER BUGS ALREADY!
Anyway...
Following last Tuesday's mid-term election returns... I could not be more mortally relieved or happier, and being a life-long Ohioan, I think I can safely speak for a lot of other fellow Ohioans who may or may not be blogging on Opera when I say that after 20 long years or so (depending on who you ask, it may feel like longer!) that the knuckles of the stranglehold of corrupt Republican dominance in this part of the Rust Belt have but all been fractured! Nice to be able to breathe again. Now it's time to recoup the damage that's been done having reverberated from here to the Beltway and into Club Fed, and gradually get back to the business of letting the citizenry decide how the state be BEST run without being a further embarassment to the rest of the country!
Still on the job hunt. It's getting too close to the holidays now so there's a good chance nothing might not develop any further until after the beginning of next year. Have a couple more prospects I've checked into this week, so you never know. At this point I'm starting to look outside my usual occupational field, maybe try something else for a change. We shall see.
The countdown has begun to the match between the Michigan Wolverines and the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes for this Saturday. We pummeled the Northwestern Illinois Wildcats last Saturday 54-10, with one TD after another. I can assure you the post-season awards will be lining up. A Heisman, a Butkus, and who knows what else. I'm very sure we'll beat Michigan and take the season and the forthcoming Championship bowl on yet more broken records for the books. Anyway one looks at it, it's going to be another classic battle to the finish!
