Heya world

Been a quick week, just blew past. Can't even really remember what's happened. That's allright though. I kinda like it that way. Drifting along in a dreamy sort of way.

Fun little thing though. Bought a jacket on saturday, used of course, im not rich. And in one of the pockets was a receipt for 20 dollars worth of steel bought in Kansas on my birthday all the way back in 1989. Pretty weird.

Another week

This last week has been strenous. In the way that a 17 year olds life is strenous. 4 exams in one week. Both forms of norwegian, math and german. All went pretty well but I am very tired.
Will update soon! Sleepy as hell. Night!

Cats!

Im allergic to em but dammnit they're cute.

Late-nite posting

,

A little post about music tonight. Been listening mostly to melancholic music lately. Which is kinda the mood im in. Just how i am. Which reminds me, i love how a lot of emos(of the newer sort) like saying how much they don't care about what others say about them. Well, being emo and not caring about what people think of you is kind of a paradox huh?

Anyways, this aint supposed to be an emo bashing post. It's supposed to be a music-post. I've been feeling melancholic like this for some time now. It's not that i really have anything to be sad about, I think in a way i like being this way. I don't know why. But I guess I do. Which is interesting and a bit weird to say the least. There is a strange feeling of being secure when I am like this. Anyways, i was gonan talk about music. So, i've been thinking of having a sort of weekly column every week where i talk about an album. Does'nt matter if it's well known or not. Just me liking it is good enough, new or old. i'll try to post at least once a week. Hope you like it, readers of my blog(all 3 of you).

This weeks album is:

Tom Waits-The Heart of Saturday Night

It's from the Waits period before his voice got Lemmyized. Or in normal english, started sounding like a mixture of brandy and cigarettes. The record makes ya feel like you're sitting in a dimly lit bar in downtown new york, or any big city for that matter. The record simply sounds like it's set in a bar, what with the band and the yrics and everything in between. It's a bit melancholic with lines such as, "Well the bartenders, they all know my name". Dreamy. I think is the best way to describe it. Dreamy and downright cool. The jazz band backing Waits up is great. Pete Christlieb does a great job on the sax. Can't say nothin more about it than the fact that's it great. So, go buy if you're in the market for some good music, which in my opinion is a market you should never leave.

New post!

Last post got terminated somehow. Anyways. I'm back and I do plan on posting more often.

Am currently writing an essay for social-anthropology class. Not too fun but it's allright. I've got big plans this weekend. Working and scaring little kids. Working at the platemesse at Folkets hus saturday. And scaring some little scouts(im a scout mayelf)but can't talk any more bout that.

I officially announce my decision purchase a stereo system. So, there you have it. Im looking at some Q1n speakers and a Marantz amp. Looking at othe options too but currently those are favorites. Tired

Couldn't fall asleep last night. Just couldn't. So, only about 4-5 hours of sleep. Which makes me a very tired guy.

Too many people around me today. Subway was even more crowded than usual. Looking forward to sleeping again tonight.

Back from vacation

Im back. London was cool and so was motstøy. Got some old blue note jazz in england, specifically some Ornette Coleman trio, Jimmy Smith and Stanley Turrentine. Also bought black sabbaths first album with the pink swirl vertigo label.

I'm a bit tired right now. Got a lot of school, couple of projects and more. Im off again. Gotta work on my projects.

Soundtrack of the day:

The Beatles - The Beatles

Edge

EDGE magazine just gave Halo 3 a 10/10. Considering the fact that the last one to get 10/10 was Halo. This is fucking insane!

And man, does this game deserve it.

Only one more day

...and i'll be home free. Halo 3 man! I've been keeping my eyes off the web as much as i can so as to avoid any spoilers. I've been looking forward to this since 2004 for fucks sake. But enough H3 for now.

Other than thinking about the fact that Halo 3 is coming i've been thinking a lot about a little reunion we're gonna have on thursday/friday for friends from Jamboree this summer.
Maybe see a movie, bowl or something. Really looking forward to that.

Some news about my job! We're aiming at opening the store around november first. Gonna sell band merch. Getting some more money each month plus meeting lots of new people.

Snakes!

Another short update

Hello there world

Man im tired, I could really use som more sleep but i gotta go soon. School is calling again. I got some reports to deliver and more. Too damn much.

Im tired mentally as well, I've been thinking too much. So much happening in my head but hey, only one week till vacation time and then im off to London. And then I can really shut off and just wander around.
Know what? I can't wait:
