the game it's always playable even PSX has its lovely LOW RES not comparable with the acutal consoles :-)

Lotus, internet, social software, connections
...
YES! Finally i was at IBM's in Rome watching and testing the new IBM Lotus Connection software.
IBM provided a great PoT ( Proof of Technology ) with demo and labs so it was a very busy day! Tomorrow it's the second day and there is more software to install..let's see. Btw for anyone want to know more about it

The five sections of Lotus Connections are :Profiles , Communities, Blogs ,Dogear ,Activities.. do you think that this isn't new? that all those things are "old news" ? probably but this is a new start for make people meet and join experiences, knowledge and who knows but this time inside companies .

I was two days at IBM's in Rome this last week and i was surprised of how IBM is moving to Social Computing direction.
For sure Blogs, Wiki's , forums are flooding the internet and who don't have a blog or more ??
Lotus Connections ( yes i love Lotus software ) isn't of course targeted for SmallMediumBusiness world and also for common users but can make big companies understand better how is powerful to share knowledge, informations, bookmarks and whatever you want between a bunch of collegues in a very powerful way.

The only bad thing is, that you need to have a pair of BIG servers for run it, and yes that software isn't freeware :-)

S.Rosa, event, Viterbo
This evening on my city (Viterbo-Italy) you can watch the transport of "Macchina di S.Rosa" that starts this evening around 21:00.
The Macchina, a lighted tower about 30 meters tall and weighing nearly 5 tons topped by a statue of Santa Maria Rosa, is carried through town on the shoulders of more than 100 porters, and trust me it's a awesome event, made in memory of S.Rose.

x68000, irc, computer, #x68000
...
Hi to all, the Sharp X68000 was ( and is!! ) one of the best computers ever made powered by Motorola MC68000 processor. I love this computer and i "work" on it since more than TEN years. And since ten years i am online on Efnet with a IRC channel devoted to it, #x68000.
One of my goals was to make everyone knows the power and the beauty of this system that never left Japan
and also during these years i met incredible people on irc that helped me doing my "work" but this will be on my next post.
Blame me for my english, i am italian so that's the best i can do :-)
