I decided to make this post as a sticky, so that people click on the links here. Please, don't pass by!!!

Huh, undead hunters?!

, , ,

Many people around the internets are confused by the possibility of having new class/race combinations coming to the World of Warcraft. Specifically, some are unhappy that having undead hunters is somehow wrong, since they are all about death and not nature. Well, WoW skeptics, then what do you think of this picture here and this article, looks familiar? I, for one, am going back to WoW as soon as Cataclysm comes out just to be able to play undead hunters :knight: I'd imagine them to be a slightly different version of hunters, just like blood elves were not EXACTLY an alliance version of paladins (you know, Blood Knights vs. Knights of the Silver Hand). It would be cool to have some abilities renamed to a more undeady-themed ones. For example, instead of taming animals you could charm them, etc. :D

Freerunning Game!

, , ,

I like to watch freerunners perform stunts in an everyday environment. It is really amazing. And now you get to try (virtually) what it is like to be one. Here is an interactive game with real freerunners involved. Check it out

If NPR says so the it must be true! (or more reasons to use Opera)

, ,

While doing my daily reading on Google Reader, I stumbled upon a neat interview by NPR with Opera's CEO Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner. I really love NPR, their music and talk shows, they do a great job in journalism, and this interview is good, too. Check it out

I am a what?!?!

, , ,

Yesterday morning I turn on my computer, launch Opera as usual just to check what's new on the internets, and lo and behold! What do I see?! A tweet by Opera saying " Congrats @aleksod - our My Opera community member of the week: http://tinyurl.com/mf64zg ". What?! How can this be?! So I went to my.opera.com just to be sure... and it turns out that I AM THE MEMBER OF THE WEEK!!! This is amazing!!! Finally all these years of determined quality blogging (P:) have paid off!

Let's take a look at a screenshot from yesterday's My Opera site below:

Clicking on an image of a handsome young man P: will take you to a new page where you can LEAVE A COMMENT *hint hint* about this glorious event  :

Thank you, Opera and Opera people for making this possible, you are the inspiration for my blogging :wizard:
