Another good one: badly.
"I felt badly all day about Karen's plight."
Oh, are you having trouble feeling? "Badly" is not an adverb in this case. No "ly" is needed.
Technically an apostrophe has more than two uses as stated. It can be used to make a plural out of something that isn't normally, like "I own three BMW's." The apostrophe is optional, but it's not wrong to use it. I like to use it in this case to start arguments with grammar Nazis.
I'm terrible at grammar and punctuation. I don't know the rules. I only know the feel from tons of reading I have done. The comma splice is one of may major goofs.
