I just wanted to take a moment to share with all that have come this site. This is a place to remember Alice Donovan who passed away in a violent act of crime. I hope in this journey you will get to know of her and experience the love and beauty that this woman did posses! She is sadly missed by two daughters, Many sisters,a brother, grandchildren, a mother, a husband, nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers. And with this blog I and my aunt hope to give you a glimpse of this BEAUTIFUL lady!

As time goes on and I digest more fully the memories of Alice, I can't help but appreciate her even more. She had obstacles and difficulties in life that many folks just can't relate to, yet she met those mountains with courage, emerging as someone special. Alice had a beautiful smile and a sense of humor that could draw out the kid in anybody to a full ripe belly laugh.
I hope your work here brings healing to you, and to others.
With All my Love dear one,
Your Aunt

I don't know if you remember me, but my husband and I were with your cousin Justin and his roommate in your mother's house a couple of nights after she was taken. I hope you're doing okay, considering.
Yesterday, I was going through some boxes left over from our latest move, and I found all the newspaper clippings we'd saved about the case, as well as the flyer Barry printed up. I realized it had been ages since we'd heard any news, so I did a Google search and found this site. I'm sad to see there *is* no news, other than the fact that both the slimebags are on death row where they belong.
I can't even begin to imagine the pain you and your family have felt. The sight of your sister tearing off her sweatshirt piece by piece still haunts me; all I could do was sit there and watch her, and wish there was something I could do to help ease her pain.
My husband and I are still praying that Alice's body will be found soon so you can give her a proper burial. After the life you describe on this site, it's the least she deserves.
Love and prayers,
Justin's Friend (and yours)
