Visitors, trip to Oslo and bridge

Yesterday, Fredrik - Anniken's brother - came to visit us with his girlfriend, Vanessa. It was nice finally meeting her. We went for a trip down to Oslo, but first we stopped by a local sushi restaurant, since our visitors were hungry. Anniken had never tried sushi, so she figured that she'd give it a go. I, on the other hand, am too sceptical about the whole sushi thing, and I've sworn not to try it out ever.

Afterwards we went down to the city, where Anniken showed our guests the opera house (no, unfortunately not the one located at St. Hanshaugen
), while I went to purchase a component cable for our Wii and a 8 GB memory stick. Later on we regrouped, got ourselves some icecream and went up to the King's residence.

A while later we went back to our appartment to eat a kebab, and then I had to leave to play bridge. It went alright, and eventhough I messed up several times (like not playing back the cards my partner invited me to play and to be too harsh bidding in or out of the zones), we still got a score above average. I am quite happy with that, although the score percentage was probably 50% < x < 52%.

And the bridge game was actually quite good: There were in all 27 pairs of players, and we ended up on the 11th place. Given that this was my second club night since three years ago, I am quite happy with the result.
