Hehe, thanks. I like to have a place to code "freely" and experiment with different things. For instance, I have not been doing many regexps in PHP, but to get bbcode working, I had to. Thus I came up with things like these:

preg_match_all("|\[url=(.*)\](.*)\[/url\]|U", $text, $out, PREG_PATTERN_ORDER);
  for($i = 0; $i < sizeof($out[0]); $i++)
    $text = str_replace($out[0][$i], sprintf('<a href="%s">%s</a>', $out[1][$i], $out[2][$i]), $text);  

Are you coding anything other than Java, by the way?
