My custom Opera searches

,

As I am getting more and more worked into Opera's awesome abilities, I see myself with some that I almost cannot live without. Whenever I have to use another browser, I keep typing the custom Opera searches into Firefox or Chrome or whatever's address bar. I thought I'd share some of mine with you.

How to?
Go to Tools -> Preferences (Ctrl + F12), go to the Search tab.

By clicking Add.. you will be able to add a new search.

Here you write in the address of what you search for, and the search word should be expressed by %s. By using the example shown above, you will be able to simply type, for instance, myo Amnith in your address bar, and easily come to my blog here at My Opera.

There's a simpler way of adding searches. Say that I want to add a quick search to my blog. I can then right click the box where I type the word I want to search for and click Create Search...

In the popup I write what short cut I want to use, click OK, and voilá -- I can just type amn Star Trek to search my blog for Star Trek.

Searches
I will type the name of the search, the abbreviation and then the line that does the magic so that I or others can easily copy-paste it to get it working. These should be entered in the input boxes of the same name in the add custom search boxes above. Lastly I'll add some comments where it's needed.

Comments: This one is added in Opera, but I wanted to give a headsup so that you can easily see how things are done. In addition, I use this about 200 times a day, so it justifies it in this list.
