Way to go making your service useless to me! Let's hope I can still attain a copy of them. Otherwise, I'm going to get quite annoyed.

What is worst is really that they never even warned me about these new policy enforcements. If they had done that, I'd easily backed up the movies. But noooo. :x

You must have pics and videos posted in 2 places......but it is easy to say,
...i already loose too much time on internet.....
They say that: they can delete parts of your posts(...or watever) or delete you
completely
It is not democratical.....the hell
but, i don't bother anymore

What site did you use, by the way? I miss good old stage6. :<

Funny how Vimeo was suppose to "take over" stage6's HD streaming, with stage6 being the most popular platform for gaming/wow movies. Seems they couldn't handle the load :DDD

Back to Vimeo, I have not received any answers yet. So I suppose they're really just "FU"-ing me.

Usually they have a policy in writing that you can click onto to see what their policies are.
You can also store your films etc. online for free at numerous sites. I am sure that you have heard of photo bucket etc. Some store films too.
You can also save your material to DVD's etc. it is wise to do that. Also you can copywrite by putting your name(c) what ever the date is.
Do it like this sample John Davies (c) May 21, 2008 or whatever. Also if you go to your bank you can get a public notary to stamp some of your materials in hard copy. That works like a copy write.
People still steal though. It seems to be a hobby with some, a profession with others.

The videos I posted were gaming videos, and I cannot see why they couldn't just simply give me a warning before they removed them. It was posted before in a blog post at their site, but frankly -- do you ever read the blog post of for instance YouTube? Me neither. Such news should be blown up when you try to log in, but noo. Silence.
Oh, well, I'll try to get DivX webplayer working at my site later on. If it works, I'll have no use for Vimeo
Thanks for your comment and visit to my blog!

If indeed they were pornographic.
Once I had someone report me for spaming so I had a website taken off the internet. But I was able to prove that I do not spam because I take screen shots of what I do.
Can you prove that your videos are not pornographic?
Remember most countries have laws against pornographic literature, etc. being transmitted through public communications.
I am not saying that is right or fair but if there is some question as to whether or not the video is porn perhaps you can put it up on an adult storage site.
