So I'm back from my My Opera hiatus.

Anyway, if anyone noticed recently 95% of Greensburg, Kansas was recently wiped out by a F-5 tornado. F-5 tornados are often called 'The Finger of God'. It was 2 miles (3.21868 km) WIDE. It was practically as wide as the town. The most insane thing about it is that it is with in a 100 miles (160.934 km) of where I live. It could of been my town.
Anyway, onto some other news. I got a job! It's at this pool store. I don't know much about pools, so I'm not as much help as I wish I could be. However I'm learning. But the great news about this is that I might get a video camera! So you might actually get to see me sometime. w00t!
Also, I'm taking this philosophy class this summer from a local community college. It should be fun. I should be able to apply allot of that stuff to figuring out my beliefs and all of my 'god posts' and stuff.
So I'll post some more meaningful stuff later. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew I'm living even with this crazy KS tornado season...

When you wrote that you were selling pools I was thinking along the lines of 'What? Those big tables with loads of balls rolling around them?' but I guess you mean the wet things. Would that be the little wet things that you put plants around and wait for the frogs to arrive or the great big ones that human beans occasionally drown in?
We got some footage of the Greensburg tornado on the news over here, is it just me or are these things getting more vicious? I heard an interview with Michael Brown last Tuesday and he maintains that the reason he failed in New Orleans was that the USA just plain isn't ready for any emergency, the budget was blown long ago and the political system just doesn't allow for it to be built up again. Seems to me that if storms are getting worse and there's no emergency budget there's big trouble ahead. Not that we can talk over here. Apparently our budget (Should we suddenly need it) has been blown on Iraq....
Anyway, I'm impressed by your actions to help the citizens of Greensberg. I'd like to think I'd do the same, but I'm not so sure. Be proud of youself.

Nope. Now I'm just working at a pool store.
@Deke
Yup. Wet pools are now becoming my speciality- chlorine, shock, all that stuff. Anyway, yea. I don't think were prepared. However, I don't know how prepared we can get without completly killing the budget. I wish we could just start putting more money away for that. Maybe once the war's over.
@Jimmy
Thanks! I'm very happy about getting featured.
