I hate baseball. Does anyone actually like baseball? You know, it is the American Sport but I know about 3 actual americans who like Baseball. Out of ALL the Americans I know (which excluding 2 foreign exchange students I met last year that's EVERYONE I know), only three of them actually like our countries sport. How did we end up with such a crappy sport as a national sport?
Why didn't we choose Football? I hate football but that's beside the point. Everyone here seems to like football. The varisty football team at my school gets ALL the attention (even though the team sucks. Last game the score was 40 to 7. We lost. And last year they won one game out of like 5 or 6)Everyone goes to the games, on friday. All the teachers and the local bussineses put up the footbal teams poster, ect. But we as America have Baseball- the sport very few americans like, as our national sport.
Why didn't we choose Soccer? I love soccer (it's called football like in China and I think Europe). It rocks. More people like it than Baseball. I definatly do.
Anyway, why I'm ranting about Baseball is because I work at a baseball stadium. I've watched the game and I've TRIED to become interested. I really have. But I swere, it's as boring as hell. The fans don't even really watch it, that much. They end up talking to the people sitting next to them and eating nachos. It's not an exciting game. No one even gets hurt that much. At the worst, the get hurt because of something stupid. Like they get hit in the head with a baseball. It's truly a lazy boring sport.
Actually only like 2 of the people that work their that I've talked to like the sport. Insane huh?
Oh well... I guess Americans just have a boring sport...
I should move to Canada... I wonder what their sport is...
Anyway I have to go work at the stupid boring sport place...
