Dual screens

My regular screen is a 19" CRT. As an upgrade from a 15" CRT it was very nice. It's very easy to get used to a big screen!
I recently acquired a spare 15" CRT. My video card has DVI and VGA outputs and came with a DVI to VGA adapter. Two VGA ports, two screens, twiddle some Windows settings: instant dual screens!
Virtual machines become much easier to use when running full-screen on the second monitor. It's also very good to have an editor on one screen, and be able to view the results on the other. I can edit a web page on one screen and preview it on the other, or run my software IDE on one and my app on the other.
Every software developer should have two (screens)!
