Jak tworzymy zdania w czasie past simple?
Zdania Oznajmujące:
W czasie ""[/B]past simple"" czasownik przybiera tą samą formę we wszystkich osobach liczby pojedyńczej i mnogiej, np.:

I watched, enjoyed
You watched, enjoyed
He watched, enjoyed
She watched, enjoyed
It walked, played, emjoyed
We watched, enjoyed
You watched, enjoyed
They watched, enjoyed

Czasowniki regularne w czasie "past simple" tworzymy poprzez dodanie końcówki -ed lub -d do czasownika w formie podstawowej,np.: played, walked.

3.Zdania Przeczące:
Zdania przeczące tworzymy dodając "not" do operatora "did". Czasownik pozostaje w formie podstawowej, np.: I did not see him yesterday.
* W mowie potocznej wyrażenie "did not" redukuje się do "didn't."

Czas "past simple" stosujemy także we wszelkiego rodzaju narracjach o przeszłości także kiedy opisujemy osobę, np.:
