I finished this game today and my opponent asked for a draw - his rating is 2100+ [you can actually see it in the corner where I pasted it] and mine...well, nothing to get excited about as I'm not playing rated games for the past 2 years [time a problem]. I played black in this game. Even this game was 'n friendly game. To be honest, my rating with this game sucks...my normal rating is about 1500 and my highest rating was 1600, I also drew another game...co-incidently today too [my chess friend for 4 years now - American and his rating is exactly 2555!] Well, it's either me getting better, or it's just because it's Christmas. lol

In December I'll be going to the Roald Dahl museum with my Y5-class [9year old kiddies, some 10]. This picture was taken outside the museum [on my pre-visit] and I was told that this Tudor house inspired Roald Dahl in the writing of The BFG [The Big Friendly Giant]. You can vagely see the house in the movie too. We do look forward to visiting the museum. They have all sorts of activities for the kiddies.
Some of you remember my visit to the London Chess - in West London last year. I will be going again this year, only because of ANAND! playing too. Anand is from India and the World Champion - and my favourite. [For some reason I can't post something in my shout box, it doesn't "work". So, also for "strangers" visiting here...I won't add you as a friend if you swear on your blog. As a person I'm not swearing and I don't associate myself with people using the f-word. Sorry, that's me. There are many other words you can use instead of the f-word - again, my opinion]

I played this game today on Chesscube.com - a site that uses Flash and I do like to play real time games on this site. There is always tons of players to play real time and as my time is little, I do enjoy playing a quick game. In this game I played white. Sacrificed my Queen later on and my Rook, but in order to have a win!

Whoops! Can't wait...going to see Kramnik/Carlsen playing chess - Olympia---West London.
