The secret to a lasting relationship between persons is nothing other than knowing what to do,how to do it and when to do it. Which is of course based upon the mutual understanding of whom your friend is and his temperant. When you know how his state of mind works then you can then succesfully apply the 3 tips concurrently not independent of the other. But i would like to correct a little impression, leaving things which ought to be said should not be encouraged,rather people should know when to say such things. Things that are fundamental to the nature of the relationship should not be left out simply because it would offset the other fellow,but rather because it's not the best time the fellow should hear of it but with an intention to tell him when it's right,and making sure you know when it is right.
Again don't let him find out before you tell him,that would be betrayal.And don't make it too long,don't tell me there wasn't a humorous moment where you could have brought this up and he would have taken it more lightly. Because either way,he should and will definitely hear about it.So what does it matter,tell him anyway and you will feel some heavy burden lifted off your shoulder.Don't keep secrets,it ruins relationships. Never you build a relationship on falsehood,it backfires
