Free Oscar Statuettes Anyone?

Good thing, I finally found out how to get rid of those Oscar statuettes I got. To tell you the truth, I could use the space they are filling up on the shelf in my basement.

However, it seems it is illegal to sell them. On the other hand, it does not say it is illegal to just give them away, so...

Gold is up and has been for quite some time. However, according to those who know about such stuff it has yet to reach the peak, so it would be wise to hold on a bit more. The trophy itself is not solid gold but goldplated britannium, an alloy mostly consisting of tin, so it would not hold much monetary value. The 15 vintage statuettes on auction at The Sanders Co. are estimated to bring in a total of 1 mio. US dollars - that's only about 67,000 a piece. Not that much money, really. For a unique piece of contemporary art, I mean.

The good thing about the French is that you don't have to actually sleep with them. Just tell them they have nice hair and pretend you're impressed by their cars, and you'll have them eating from your hand.
