Exactly! And in that way, I think this funny little picture symbolizes that particular type of 'spirituality' that I see around me these days. What people want is not really enlightenment or trascendence or anything that spirituality can offer. All they want is to get a better life or a better health or be happy or something like that, and there are much more efficient ways to recieve all this than embarking on a spiritual journey. In my opinion, that is.

my feeling exactly. but i do enjoy fencing with some of these idiots. especially in those facebook groups where everyone knows everything about everything and yet they can only quote from real scholars. the world is going to hell in a handbasket. lol
