New! Postrock Opera Under Construction!

,

By request, I have decided to compose a rock opera. This is a 'teaser' featuring the overture of the epic story of 'Gungadin'. Only music by now, but more will come. Enjoy...

Yeeeessss, make moooorrre...we likes, we likes...you might want to tweak the volume on that, though, it's a little loud. Fortunately there's that handy volume switch in the rollover control panel. Otherwise goodness.

So, this is what kept you off line bigsmile

Thank you both. What kept me offline is the fact that we are moving on thursday, and I have been busy packing and planning and stuff. I shall be back as usual in a week or so...

By the way, do any of you guys know somebody who can sing? Somebody available for this kind of situation, that is...

doh I remember you mentioned that before, but thought it was over...
No, no singers in my surrounding, unfortunately....

I know one 'unemployed' singer, whom I've lost the phone number, etc., of. Too bad.

Why not do it without the singer? That's more postrocky anyway, and you won't have to deal with some dull, ambitious person.

I will, Akamu. Incidently I have discovered, that there are vocal soundbits avilable for downloads, and I might pick out some of those. If it's going to be an opera, there have to be at least a male and a female aria; a tenor (male) and a soprano (female). I could also record my own voice and run it through the mixer, but I am making an epic here, not a comedy.

You'll be the first to know, when I get around to it.

That's true, about the vocal bits. I've got a friend who does drum and bass music by himself; he uses vocal bits from MP3s usually...

Is there a British Colonial Captain in it (bass)?

I think you have a substantial start here. Good luck in finding the ensemble. up up
