Pain,Love what's the difference?

Question?

Would u be pissed if ur mother said - "I think u need to talk to someone about ur problems i scheduled for u to see the priest for confession this week."

Me-" I don't have a problem (glare) so get out of my room"
Sister-" U know mom thinks ur obsessed with the devil"
Me-" I don't give a shit what she thinks"
Sister-" maybe she's right u do have problems."

Really this is a "normal" conversation in my house can u tell me who's the normal one and who's the nut?

By Armygirl, # 28. February 2008, 19:39:53

avatar
Already have done. :D But I'll do it again here. Good luck.

What exactly is a track meet anyway? I'm imagining something about running.

By Furie, # 28. February 2008, 21:25:50

avatar
3rd place in the mile relay! Yes a track meet is running it is a sport where i have to wear these tiny shorts and tight shirt and run.

Sounds like you don't like the uniform. You could try complaining. But you'd have to get some support from the other girls first.

By Furie, # 2. March 2008, 20:19:08

avatar
Hey i love my uniform.....it shows off my athletic body well.

By Armygirl, # 2. March 2008, 20:40:44

avatar
Oh, good for you then. When you were saying it was tight and tiny I got the impression you weren't happy about it. Something like you're sick of the boys perving.

The perils of text based communication. There's no inflection or emphasis to the words so meaning can be lost.

By Furie, # 3. March 2008, 10:29:19

avatar
I hate that.......i love the way my uniform is but the staring has to stop. my friends make fun and say if i didn't have such a big ass the guys would not stare.

By Armygirl, # 3. March 2008, 19:38:22

avatar
 I thought guys these days were into skinny girls with no curves who may as well be boys?

I'm guessing you're nothing like me when it comes to clothes then? As long as I'm comfortable and cool (as in not warm) then I'm happy despite the fact I look like a member of an early 90s rock band. I'm all old denim and leather jackets.

Hmm... I guess it could be worse that being obsessed with the devil. *shrug*

Examples?
You could be a mindless being.
You could be addicted to drugs.
You could be common... :yuck:
You could have premeditatedly ended the life of another person.

Being accused of being obsessed with the devil isn't that bad afterall. It weren't the least powerful and intelligent people (especially women) who got accused of that in history.

Interesting fact. The things the catholic church accused witches of in order to make people disgusted of them and fearful are the exact same things that the Christians were accused of when they started to become known. Eating babies, performing oral sex on their ministers, murder, sacrifice, orgies etc etc

"You could have premeditatedly ended the life of another person."

This can't be worse i have already caused this i have a very dark past but no matter what it will always follow me. My best friend is dead because she was with me it was one of those occasions(she was at the wrong place with the wrong person) Death is not something i fear it is something i bring.

By Armygirl, # 4. March 2008, 19:47:26

avatar
But you didn't kill her intentionally, did you? The dividing line between murder, accident and bad luck is sometimes very small. I feel sorry for you both, your friend and you. awww

I might as well have pulled the trigger that bullet was ment for me but she was not fast enough to escape it.

By Armygirl, # 6. March 2008, 19:37:37

Balls. Unless you pulled it yourself you're not responsible. People make their own choices no matter the provocation. So unless the gun was in your hands, or you were holding the girl in position and knew what was coming then you can't hold yourself responsible.

Exactly Furie.

not the way her mother put it everyone blames me she made it clear that it was my fault. I don't feel guilty because before she died i had a conversation with her in which she told me she was not afraid of death but afraid to live forever always wondering when her time would come Tina and i where in a gang the SouthWest cholos we knew we'd die sometime if we stayed i left the gang after her funeral.

By Armygirl, # 7. March 2008, 20:06:06

Then you learned something valuable eh? People vainly come up with bullshit reasons why their lives have meaning every day. Your friend's death showed you that you need to get away from the life you were leading. That means she achieved something in her life, which is more than most people ever will.

Likewise you can drink yourself to death over this or live the life your friend gave you with her sacrifice. Your choice mate.

By Furie, # 7. March 2008, 21:37:57

avatar
Oh, and the mother's talking out of grief. She's looking for someone to blame. If she starts again tell her that unless she raised a weak little daughter incapable of making her own decisions she should blame the trigger man. It's harsh I know, but make sure she knows her daughter was strong enough to make her own mistakes. You'll probably get a mouthful of abuse, but it's the nice thing to do.

By Furie, # 7. March 2008, 21:40:50

avatar
I just called her a heartless bitch and told her it was her fault her daughter was in the gang in the first place. she should have listened to her more and maybe she'd still have her.
