About the habit of reading good books I would like to note a point or two I myself have experienced.
Firstly, I feel humbled, not belittled, by the great imagination of the great artists, the creators of these books. It offers me a chance to realize how small I am. At the same time it gives me immense satisfaction of being fortunate to be a reader.
Secondly, while relishing the nectar of one book, I am tempted to doubt if the next thing I read could be as much enjoyable. But my apprehension falls flat as soon as I pick up the next one. It almost always turns out to be better, not compared to the earlier ones, but in its own right, in terms of infinite entertainment they provide me with.
Infinite sources of joy that they are they envisage an unending possibility of striving towards creating newer and newer and still better, ever onward path.
