Taking the first step proverbially costs the most.
However,the errors I had confronted with are much less than I thought!That is why I feel so happy now
The exprience I've accumulated these days is as following :
1.Yum is a convenient tool, and it makes everything easy for a beginner .The most important thing for yum is to try to find and configure several source servers .You will get the whole world once you get fast and stable source servers ready ！Details:
(1)将yum的主源设为SJTU的ftp：
先把文件夹/etc/yum.repos.d 该名为yum.repos.d.bak
然后，用gedit 修改/etc/yum.conf ，将其中对应部分改为如下:
# PUT YOUR REPOS HERE OR IN separate files named file.repo
# in /etc/yum.repos.d
[extras]
name=Fedora Extras $releasever - $basearch
baseurl=ftp://ftp.sjtu.edu.cn/fedora/linux/extras/6/i386
enabled=1
[updates]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Updates
baseurl=ftp://ftp.sjtu.edu.cn/fedora/linux/core/updates/6/i386
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=
[core]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch
baseurl=ftp://ftp.sjtu.edu.cn/fedora/linux/core/6/i386/os
enable=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=
这样就把yum的源设为了SJTU的源，如果要改到其他源，可如法炮制～
但是想这种官方的源包含的软件都不多，尤其是像multimedia方面的东西更是少的可怜，连基本mp3都解决不了。唯一的有点就是速度快
(2) 使用rpm.livna.org(http://rpm.livna.org/)作为辅助源
介绍：rpm.livna.org is a community maintained add-on repository for Fedora Core that provides many useful packages that can not be distributed in Fedora Core or Fedora Extras for one reason or another, including multimedia applications such as xine and VideoLanClient, video drivers for ATI and Nvidia cards and firmware for common wireless cards.
因此，这里面包含几乎所有的非官方软件，想要什么有什么，就是速度慢些。
安装：
首先确认先文件夹/etc/yum.repos.d 该名为yum.repos.d.bak
对于fedora 6 执行：rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-6.rpm 即可～～，爽吧:yes:
装好以后，就行了。会发现装好以后/etc 中多了一个包含有livna.repo；livna-testing.repo；livna-devel.repo几个文件的文件夹yum.repos.d。
配置好yum源以后，装软件就相当傻瓜了。
