Essence, Embrace, Sadness

Like my eyes also are a window to my soul,
Sadness can lead me to the inner reaches of my being that otherwise would not be reached.

My sadness when embraced can lead me to enlightenment,
But sadness disregarded leads me to despair.

It is in my naked sadness I too see your pain,
When I am honoured to touch your sadness,
Our souls find solace, we are united,
Our spirit is one.

Weeping in this this sadness, is weeping for life,
My tears are from the well of life,

But I will not rejoice my sadness, nor will I pity your pain.
Alas I am awed in the sacred journey Sadness takes me to find my essence.

Today I'm still,
It's my sadness I embrace...

This is virgin territory as it's my very first blog.

Right now its more a matter of when to get a gas heater to keep out the cold because our power supplier has hiked up electricity cost by at least 30%
