Colorful Shell - Colorful Day

I began the day with a thought in my head- I need to hurry up. Hurry to wash my face and brush my teeth. Hurry up to eat in the basement. Hurry up to the classroom, where a lecture was about to begin at 9 o'clock. Hurry up to check whether I have been qualified to take the Oxbridge test which will take place 4 pm......
But When I really set out to the classroom, I find myself half an hour earlier than the scheduled time, so as ever, I took our my camera. This species of tree is popular in China too, but I just can't remember its name..:frown: someone tell me what it is called?

After that class I went to the main court. A very grand opening of Fresher's Fayre was taking place in the main building of UCL. Hundreds of societies and clubs were recruiting, the atmosphere is heated considerable by the excitement and competition there-- Every society wants to find more newbies, and soon I was flooded with booklets, posters, cards and candies given out by the enthusiastic clubs. Here is a photo...

I joined nothing... Simply because I can't decide which one is better for me, and so I collected a lot of advertisements.

A stage bus was in the middle of the court- I have seen one during the Olympics on TV- But this one is by my bare eyes, so it is still a very new thing to me. Two performers, presumably students, were dancing there. Here's a video I recorded with my camera:

On my way back to the test room, I found a little squirrel eating a nut near a bin.
It was very tame that when I stood so near to it to take photos, it only looked at me and continued to eat as if I am just air....:D

The test of Oxbridge is difficult to say the least. Not only the English is very, very hard, but the logic and knowledge required to complete the test is also significant. I don't know how others do, but I don't want to be optimistic after this test... It's a good thing the results will come on Tuesday. Let's see if I can get a interview with the Oxbridge..

Night had come... I was still sort of in Chinese time, so I was sleepy all too soon in my opinion. However I managed to take a few photos before I went to bed:

The next morning, when I got up at six, I didn't believe my eyes when I looked out of the window. I can see nothing-- Everything was in a very deep and dense fog. So this is the legendary London Fog! Yes! I took my camera and shot this one.. Pity the light was too dark at that time.

And then the sky become to light up. Here are more:

And by the time the fog has dissipated a little, I could manage to see the BT tower in the distance.

Well, so much for today. I need to read all those booklets, and finish reading my Student's Handbook-- After all, I am pretty new here and I need to know all the rules in order NOT to cross any dangerous line... Ain't that right Loku?:D
