Azure Shell - The Azure Sea

This is a photo shot in July 2007, Jhiju Island, Korea.
The sea wasn't as beautiful when I see it, but the camera somehow made it more beautiful than it actually looks...
Anyway, enjoy it.

What an interesting breakwater. But why is it there?

South Korea. Jijhu Island... Thanks for visiting Aprilsnow!~~
hey Elly, why what is where?
Dave, yeah, I've been wondering about the same thing.. but they Are really natural-- sometimes we just have to admit the power of nature, right?
Regards, a man struggling for some translation work, Timm.

I guess the artificial stonework is there to protect the jutting promentary; but why is this particular piece of land so important that effort was put forth to guard it in this manner?

?No, no, Elly, they are not man-made. they're completely natural. one of them is about 2 feet by 2 feet in scale.. perhaps there's no contrast... No one is guarding it! I took the photo on a bridge, no higher than 10 metres from the sea! hope that helps.

Of course no kidding Elly! I was amazed by them too! We just have to wonder how on earth could nature be so funny?

Have you ever been to North Korea, Timm? I heard it's been developing gradually and quite well.
