Dark Shell - Voice of the Sea

Walking alone on the beach in the misty night, I breathed in the salty smell of the tide of waves gently whispering to me. The season may not be the best of Sanya, Hainan, but it certainly is the most comfortable time for a north-eastern Chinese like me. Warm breeze silently lifted the hem of my shirt, the only thing I have on now. It amazes me how it is possible to feel so comfortable in the solitary night, on the deserted beach, only sound is the crashing of the waves, only light is the blueish streetlight on a faraway bridge, only connection to civilization is the mobile phone in my hands.
So comfortable, I decided, that I should record how I feel somehow. Despite the deserted status of my blog, I think it'll do. Ok, let me post it, and continue to enjoy the short moment of divine bless..
Happy Chinese New Year!

I know you are not a 'religious' person but since none of us know all of the answers to the mystery of the universe and our own part in the scheme of such things I will tell you that I hope a "Greater Power" is watching over you and in some unknown manner is helping you. Best wishes to you and to your family, dear friend Timm.

That's right- what I'm doing these days will greatly affect the course of my life. I miss the days when I had loads and lots of free time to surf online- my blog, once a well-cared one, is now degenerated to only occasional comments and short posts. I'm back in Shanghai and the new term is started, quickly demanding all my attention and energy. Unlike you Loku, I'm just a student, I don't write for a living-- but that's NOT an excuse not to attend to my blog and most importantly, your kind words, your generosity, your simple but meaningful gesture-- they warmed the cold spring air of Shanghai.
Dear Loku, my email address has changed; I’ll give it to you in a private message. I hope we can have more contact via email; they are more accessible than My Opera in China.
Thank you again, dear Loku… looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards, a man working hard, Timm.
