AzureTimm =海滩之贝= Seashells On A Sunlit Beach

Dark Shell - Voice of the Sea

Walking alone on the beach in the misty night, I breathed in the salty smell of the tide of waves gently whispering to me. The season may not be the best of Sanya, Hainan, but it certainly is the most comfortable time for a north-eastern Chinese like me. Warm breeze silently lifted the hem of my shirt, the only thing I have on now. It amazes me how it is possible to feel so comfortable in the solitary night, on the deserted beach, only sound is the crashing of the waves, only light is the blueish streetlight on a faraway bridge, only connection to civilization is the mobile phone in my hands.
So comfortable, I decided, that I should record how I feel somehow. Despite the deserted status of my blog, I think it'll do. Ok, let me post it, and continue to enjoy the short moment of divine bless..

Dear friend Timm, it seems that, like myself, you are not writing as much in your blog as you once regularly did. For my part, I have been focusing on matters outside that have needed my deep and constant attention and this explains the 'gaps' in my own blog (but I have started to post my compositions once again and I will endeavour to keep my blog updated as regularly as possible because I am a writer and this is how I express my observations, emotions, experiences). For your part, my conjecture is that you are now in a phase of your young life that demands your focused attention on your vital continuing education. You are diligent and you are climbing steep hills, ascending tall mountains, clambering over many obstacles on the path to progress and enlightenment. I suspect you will be going to the USA in the not too distant future (unless you are now already there, on a student exchange project) and such a visit will be an enormous revelation to you. I want you to be assured that I do not forget you and although I am tardy in my visits to your pages (for which I offer apology) I 'watch' your progress with admiration and constant good will towards you.
I know you are not a 'religious' person but since none of us know all of the answers to the mystery of the universe and our own part in the scheme of such things I will tell you that I hope a "Greater Power" is watching over you and in some unknown manner is helping you. Best wishes to you and to your family, dear friend Timm.

Dear Loku, my friend,
That's right- what I'm doing these days will greatly affect the course of my life. I miss the days when I had loads and lots of free time to surf online- my blog, once a well-cared one, is now degenerated to only occasional comments and short posts. I'm back in Shanghai and the new term is started, quickly demanding all my attention and energy. Unlike you Loku, I'm just a student, I don't write for a living-- but that's NOT an excuse not to attend to my blog and most importantly, your kind words, your generosity, your simple but meaningful gesture-- they warmed the cold spring air of Shanghai.
Dear Loku, my email address has changed; I’ll give it to you in a private message. I hope we can have more contact via email; they are more accessible than My Opera in China.
Thank you again, dear Loku… looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards, a man working hard, Timm.

Your description sounds so mesmerizing. It reminds me of a place near where I live. A secluded beach on the ocean where you might see an occasional fisherman. Sometimes I go there when I want to be alone and need to think. I hope school is going good for you. I really miss being in college. It was difficult, but was a very happy time for me
