"Login" and "log in" are two different words/phrases with two different meanings.
Log in (verb): the act of submitting a username and password to a web site in order to access your personalized account
Example: I log in to Facebook often.
Login (noun): usually meaning a username and password; a user's identification
Example: Your login was incorrect.
