Getting to and from the mill in Palatka is tough to say the least. Three main routes to and from Palatka are closed because of forest fires. Over 50,000 acres have been lost and reports say that the fire in Georgia has jumped the state line into Florida.

The winds are blowing from north to south due to sub-tropical storm Andrea who makes herself known three weeks before the official start of the 2007 hurricane season. Andrea is not carrying allot of moisture but is expected to be a major wind event.
