Blogging Section

Being blog free is harder than I thought it would be.
Here is what happened last night.
After I parked the truck for the day, I was tempted to do some blog stuff before going to bed. I wasn’t very sleepy, so to take my mind off the blog, I went into the restaurant.
I sat down at the counter and ordered a cup of hot chocolate. The TV on the wall was tuned to Fox News (I was in the conservative south). It was a slow night.
Half way into my hot chocolate, I guy came in and sat just two stools down from me. He asked for a cup of coffee. His hair was messed up and his eyes were red. He looked as if he had not slept in days. Then he pulled out a lap top from his bag and laid it in front of him.
“Hey”, I said. “You’re not going to boot that up in here, are you?”
“Yes I am”, he said with a sheepish grin. “I got to check my stats on my blog and post some comments”
I called to the waitress. “I thought this was a no blogging restaurant?” She looked at me and said. “No, you are sitting in the blogging section. If you want no blogging, you need to go to the back away from the data ports”.
I took my cocoa and went to the back. I sat at a table near the window. I had not noticed anybody else in this section until I heard (ding) “You’ve got mail”.
I spun in my seat to see some guy sitting near the back wall with his lap top open. “This can’t be happening” I thought to myself.
“Hey friend, are there data ports back here too?” I asked.
He said, “Nope….. Wi-Fi!”
I left the warm chocolate on the table with my money, walked back to the truck and went to bed, dejected but still blog free.

Isn't it amazing that some people I have talked to don't even know what a blog is!
Hey BDG sorry about the double comment on the other post. My click finger was itchy!
