My mother used to listen to Claude François and I do not like him that much: 'course he did not get to live as long as GB since he got stuck to a light bulb above his bathtub! What a stupid thing to do...Although some people say that he actually died because of a faulty dildo..... Go figure.... rolleyes
She also used to listen to Abba and Mike Brant (another one who committed suicide: he managed after the 3 attempt. I know it's not meant to be funny but at his first attempt the heel of his boot got stuck and stopped him from plummetting several metres down to his death. Claude François died "officially" while changing a light bulb above his bath (while standing in the water). Some people have said that it was not the electricity from the light bulb idea that killed him but that he was using a dildo at the time to pleasure himself...)
As for Mike Brant: his first suicide attempt was stopped by his shoe heel getting stuck on the railing of his balcony.
