I don't really enjoy posting only negative posts, but after some of you contacted me to ask me if I was all right because I had not posted in a while, I wondered if indeed I am... And I am not. My return to work has once more jolted me, cruel awakening after a few weeks away from the office. I have a lot of interrogations about my future: should I keep going in this direction or change? At 41 it's not impossible but certainly risky especially given that my husband is currently unemployed.

Yes a black cloud has descended upon me and I increasingly wonder that life should not only be about working and fear. So far, it seems that is only what I have to deal with. It has become particularly bad this past few days. My cat is my buoy at the moment and stop me from sinking too far.

So if I am not posting is simply because I do not want to rant and write 100% negative posts and that at the moment I feel inspiration free.

I would like to, yes... I feel always belittled and made to believe that I am not good enough. Maybe it's true... I even start to think that I am not good enough!

no, you're good enough. Just maybe the job is not what your purpose is in life.
As someone who doesn't have a job himself I am also at a crossroads: I look back at what I have done and pursued, and look forward to what I would like to do....and that's where reality simply hás to kick in because I'm either not educated to fulfill certain wishes or not experienced enough.
So I know how you feel, and be lucky you still have a job at the moment!

But don't ever let that sinking feeling take over, OK? Take things into consideration and put the pros vs the cons and see what comes out. Or throw caution in the wind at some point and start anew. You decide smile

Whatever you do, make sure you're happy with your decision.

I have never watched True Blood. But I am quite fond of Six Feet Under. It's really bizarre the way American embalm their dead... In Europe we don't do this...or at least it's not common. I have seen on a funeral home window that they do restoration work and preservation.... bigeyes

The only vampire film that I can stand watching is the one made by Coppola with Gary Oldman. The photography is stunning. up

Oh yes, that has to be one of my favorite and ultimate Dracula films ever. Gary Oldman is seductive in his role, but manages to pull off the whole "victim" role as well at the same time! I really should get that film on DVD - I can only smack myself for not doing it any sooner!

Give TrueBlood a chance - it's different from the Dracula movie as it's more modern, but the storylines are good and the characters are just freaking bloody amazing smile

As for Gary Oldman is amazing! Have you seen that BMW ad with Clive Owen, James Brown,Gary Oldman and Marilyn Manson. SUPERB. It's on youtube and called "Beat the Devil" (I think). It's about 10 minutes long.

If I had to make a screenshot in Coppola's Dracula it could be when Gary Oldman is wearing his blue glasses and spots his love across the street...
