Princess Journey to Borneo (Part 7) - Sunset in Garamma River

, , , , ,

It's sunset now and the monkeys are probably sleeping, let head back to the hut. Along our way there are genuine light up trees. There are fireflies, but too bad I don't have a good camera to capture the fireflies but believe me it's a magnificient sight. Now I know how the got the idea of lighting up the Christmas Tree...
Let's get back to the hut..
That's the end of our Klias/Garamma River Wildlife Cruise. Tomorrow I will bring you to Monosopiad Cultural Village. up Goodnight all.

Hi queen heart - I loved the last tour and now I'm on this brilliant tour too happy The fireflies are floating around us like little bright jewels in the air - it;s a wonderful sight to see! Yummy, that plate of rice food looks good smile The hanging kerosene oil lamps remind me of the time I visited some kampongs back in Penang, when I was a Princelet.
Hey - look! - There's a puss-cat in one of the huts. It got a happy expression on its face.

It's good to be here with all our lovely friends. Were' all sitting in the boat - Sir Stormyr is sitting close to Lady Carol and they both look happy. Sir Glenn is wobbling around as he tries to get settled. I think his jester's hat is making him top-heavy ad he's worried about falling over the side!
- Don't be nervous Sir Glenn, we'll save your hat lol - I'm only joking of course!

Thank you Princess Lea queen heart for another amazing and wonderful tour happy king

Lady Pam, these is a simple 'kampung' dinner where the malay villages ate, Those dishes were - fried vegetable, sweet and sour sliced fish, beancurd and chicken soup. up its simple but delicious smile

LéazzBabyJay99 Wednesday, December 31, 2008 6:09:46 AM

Hello Sir Richard, smile yes that hand woven roof is called 'attap' made from 'nipah' palm leaves and sometimes also from coconut tree leaves. Its amazing huh on how they have patiences to do it. smile

PainterWoman Wednesday, December 31, 2008 6:14:47 AM

That all sounds delicious as long as the fish was cooked. Here in America, so many people like sushi. I tried it once. Never again because I thought I'd pass out. Not because it was bad tasting but just the fact I was eating something raw. It made me very woozy.
