The Elders apparently knew who we were and were expecting us. Seems the Good Power of The Wise Owl still covered this area and so we breathed a sigh of relief and got down to greet the Elders.
We asked them how it was that they could now be seen by us and why they could not be seen when the huts were being built. And this is what they told us - do you remember dear
"We are the invisible tribe.
We build our civilization with pride.
We never run. We never hide.
We build and build and when we're done
we all sit down and have some fun.
Welcome to our feast today,
we wont disappear while you stay,
but when our tribe grows even more
we will be invisible as before
until we find another place
to build more huts and show our face"
The strange thing was that none of the bad things rumored to be living in the forest of The Secret Garden seemed to worry the tribe. The Elder-Chief.. He-Who-Sees-But-Is-Unseen, said it was because they were invisible many times, as they advanced their civilization, nothing could ever track them (we were going to say that The Wise Owl could! But we thought that would not be courteous and so we didn't mention it). The tribe were obviously very happy and told us that every time they learnt something new they felt they were growing, as a civilization and then they invisibled themselves once again, packed up all their things and moved on to find another place to re-build even more huts.
Dear
Others who don't understand
dismiss our feelings out of hand
but we the Tribe are strong with risible
powers and we simply laugh and laugh
through all the hours. We are invisible
when we move on to build bigger huts
that give a sensation of our growing civilization.
And so we said farewell to the lovely invisible tribe who were visible to us at this moment.. and we moved on with our Adventure through The Secret Garden.

there's an old proverb that I just made up and it goes like this:
"YamYim tea,
YamYim tea,
it's made
from YimYam
an mustn't be
confused
with Yin Yam
because, you see,
Yin Yam is not
YamYim tea."
